You have complete control over the investments in your Account, allowing you to develop an investment strategy to suit your own goals and objectives

The Alliance Trust Savings investment platform offers you the opportunity to select from a range of around 4,000 investments, and also allows you to hold cash on deposit.

You may choose to invest in:

•	UK investment trusts
•	Other UK listed equities
•	AIM securities
•	UK government gilts
•	Convertibles, debentures and loan stocks
•	Fixed interest securities
•	Preference stocks
•	Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)
•	Funds (open ended investment companies (OEICS), unit trusts and life funds) through our Fund Supermarket

Please note that there are certain restrictions on the types of investments you can hold in a Stocks and Shares ISA.

For general guidance only, the following investments are not ISA eligible, but you should check the ISA eligibility of each particular investment you may wish to include in your Stocks and Shares ISA Account:

•	AIM securities
•	Gilts which have 5 years or less to maturity
•	Certain funds
